Peppered Tofu
A healthy & lively Tofu dish.
  1. In a wok, heat the oil until very hot.
  2. Cut Tofu into 1/2 inch think squares.
  3. Fry the tofu slices until they begin to look brown and toasty.
  4. Using a slotted spoon, remove the tofu to a plate to drain.
  5. Remove the oil and wipe the wok.
  6. Add just enough oil to make the bottom of the wok gleam. Heat until it is very hot.
  7. Add the green onion and stir fry for about 30 seconds.
  8. Add the drained tofu and stir fry for about a minute.
  9. Add the cornstarch, water, salt, and stir.
  10. Remove to an oval plate. Dust theground Szechuan peppercorn on top of the tofu.
